What CardboardChasr Is

CardboardChasr is a local-first sports card collection tracker. Your collection data is stored on your own computer — we do not host, store, or have access to your card data, pricing information, or collection files.

eBay Integration

CardboardChasr offers optional eBay integration for two features:

• Live Pricing — Uses the eBay Browse API to fetch publicly available listing data for price comparisons. This uses app-level credentials and does not access your eBay account.
• Draft Listings— If you choose to connect your eBay seller account, CardboardChasr can create draft listings on your behalf. This requires your explicit authorization through eBay's OAuth consent flow.

What We Access When You Connect eBay

• Sell Inventory — Permission to create, edit, and delete draft listings in your eBay seller account.
• Sell Account — Permission to read your seller account settings (fulfillment policies, payment policies) to properly format listings.

We cannot access your eBay purchase history, messages, payment information, or personal details. We cannot publish listings — drafts require your manual approval in eBay Seller Hub.

Where Your Data Lives

• Collection data — Stored locally on your computer in an XLSX file. Never uploaded.
• API credentials — Stored locally in a .env file on your computer. Never transmitted to us.
• eBay OAuth tokens— Stored locally on your computer. Used only to communicate directly between your computer and eBay's API.

CardboardChasr.com serves as an OAuth redirect endpoint only — it receives a temporary authorization code from eBay and immediately passes it to your local application. No data is stored on our servers.

This website collects no personal information, sets no cookies, and uses no analytics or tracking scripts. If you sign up for our beta waitlist, we store only your email address for the purpose of sending you product updates. You can request removal at any time.

Disconnecting eBay

You can disconnect your eBay account at any time from the Settings page in CardboardChasr. This deletes the stored OAuth tokens from your computer. You can also revoke access from eBay's third-party permissions page.
